With 400+ student organizations and 5 other business fraternities, how can Pi Sigma Epsilon stand out to JMU students? Sometimes it takes broadcasting the recruitment schedule to every TV in the Hartman Hall, nail-biting coverage of intramural soccer finals on social media, or tabling outside the bustling dining hall on Cheesy Thursday to make a mark on campus (literally...we've used spray paint).

Sought to increase awareness and engagement from the target audience- JMU students, PSE members, and alumni passionate about both professional development and social community.
PROJECT DETAILS:

Balance social media content between social and professional events, highlighting the unique personalities and camaraderie of PSE members. Focus on user-generated content (UGC) where members share their own experiences in the organization.
STRATEGY:
Increased account Instagram followers by 20%, achieved content mix between professional and social happenings, and stimulated generation of photo/video content by introducing weekly photo-sharing within the organization.

Spring 2023 Recruitment: Ride the Wave




Aimed to increase awareness and attendance of Spring semester recruitment events within the target audience, JMU students seeking membership in a business fraternity.
PROJECT DETAILS:
Foster authentic connections with potential new members by creating consistent and impactful marketing materials using social, traditional, OOH, and event channels under the theme "Ride the Wave".
Generated a 40% increase in potential new member turnout by implementing tabling, chalking, and flyering initiatives. Engaged with over 100 potential new members through in-person recruitment events, expressing both social and professional sides of each unique member.

8th Annual Golf Outing Fundraiser
Raise funds for JMU Pi Sigma Epsilon chapter and the American Cancer Society by putting on annual golf outing event for PSE members, alumni, parents, and friends.
PROJECT DETAILS:
Use direct marketing initiatives to obtain 19 sponsorships from Harrisonburg-local and nationwide businesses in exchange for advertising opportunities. Sponsorship benefits included business branding on event signage, tag and logo in social media posts, the opportunity to speak at chapter professional events, and being featured in raffle basket prizes.
Raised over $2700 for JMU Pi Sigma Epsilon chapter and the American Cancer Society, strengthened relationships with 11 local businesses, and secured our hightest-tiered sponsor to return for the next year's event due to their satisfaction with their sponsorship experience.
Obtained 19 sponsorships to raise over $2700 for PSE and Relay for Life
