Bouquets & Bustles' wedding planning and coordination services make dream weddings a reality for couples across the Shenandoah Valley. Our team of three JMU Marketing students crafted a social media marketing plan that weds impactful storytelling with a research-driven strategy. We popped the question to our client at the close of the Fall 2024 semester, and earned recognition as a Client's Top Plan & Presentation pick among 12 teams.

PROBLEM:
With the increasing popularity of DIY weddings within Gen-Z, how can Bouquets & Bustles increase wedding planning services booked, increase awareness within the target audience, and maintain relationships with local vendors using social media?
STRATEGY:
Using a combination of paid, earned, and owned media, Bouquets & Bustles will increase awareness by running three campaigns to position Bouquets & Bustles as a reliable source for wedding coordination needs to target personas DIY brides-to-be, unfamiliar grooms, and mothers-of-the-brides.
We delivered a content calendar and social media marketing plan, along with 25 unique pieces of content featuring a strategic mix of formats, pillars, and platforms. Together, these deliverables will equip the client with impactful content, strategic framework, and guide of best practices for social media use during the 2025 year.
